General Massage
Whether you just want to relax and de-stress, or have specific aches, pains, or injuries that require treatment, we will design a massage that addresses your needs. A 90 minute session can effectively evaluate your body using postural assessment and other tools. Then we treat your specific problem areas and/or offer a full body massage. We specialize in Swedish massage and myofascial release. These are integrated with other modalities to achieve the best result.

We are a preferred provider for many insurance carriers and would be happy to bill your insurance company directly if your coverage allows. We are also happy to accept L & I (workers comp) claims.
Ayurvedic Abhyanga Massage
This specialized treatment is different from regular massage in several ways. Based upon your body's individual constitution, special oils and herbs are used when applied to the body. These help balance the elements of Vata (air), Pitta (fire), and Kapha (water). Your lymphatic system is stimulated which assists in the flow of nutrients in the body and the removal of toxins from the cells. As with any massage, you may feel less stress, sleep better, experience better immunity, reduce pain, and experience rejuvenation.
In addition, each individual has marma (energy) points which, when stimulated, can help balance the elements of the body. The specific marma points which may contribute to your health concerns and imbalances are massaged with more oil and herbs. This treatment can have a similar effect as acupuncture, but is achieved without using needles.
Your Abhyanga massage will start with a cup of herbal tea during a discussion of what you want from the massage. Medicated oils and herb pastes are then massaged on your body. An aromatherapy steam followed by a hot shower with Ayurvedic herbal soap completes your treatment. Total time: approximately 90 minutes.
